Landlord’s Wet Dream is a one-person comedy show that tackles the UK housing crisis with wit and urgency. Blending autobiographical stand-up, punk poetry, clown satire, and interactive games, it dissects exploitative landlord practices, precarious housing, and the impact of climate change on fragile infrastructures. With humor and relatability, the show underscores how profit-driven housing fosters powerlessness, stifling collective action. Inspired by Political Theatre, Riot Grrrl music, and comedy cabaret, this episodic performance weaves punchy vignettes with a personal story of displacement. Landlord’s Wet Dream is a rallying laugh/cry for renters, property guardians, and anyone grappling with housing inequality.
