Step into the strange and surreal world of Theo Mason Wood, where techno beats and sound scapes set the stage for sharp, witty mediations on love, romance and yoghurt. This isn’t your normal stand up show - It’s a collage of jokes, stories, live music and absurd poetry. Theo’s act is a genre-defying whirlwind. It’s electric. It’s weird. It’s heartfelt. And it’s utterly unforgettable.
Theo is an award winning comedian and writer for screen and for stage. He is the winner of the 2020 Brit List and the 2023 Berlin New Stand Up Award. He has written for Netflix and Baby Cow Productions, Steve Coogan’s production company, and entertained audiences all over the UK and Europe and this year he is unveiling his debut hour of live comedy.
This is a show that blurs the line between comedy and chaos, between irony and sincerity, between punk and clown. This is a show for those who love the work of Chris Morris, The Mighty Boosh and Stewart Lee. If you want the chance to say “I saw them before they got big!” Then Legalise Kissing in Brighton is then show for you.
